Find one who rebukes me.

Maybe some of those "Jewish" Akins that you claim exist.....somewhere, like Bigfoot and the abominable snowman.

Correct. And it's now confirmed that Clan Akins does not exist.

What is the obsession with this? My wife is part Cherokee, but she doesn't go on and on about it. It would drive me nuts.

You claim he lived in Ireland, Scotland, Virginia, Arkansas, Alabama, and now Pennsylvania. Seems unlikely.

Not the same one, I had a 5th, 6th and 7th great-grandfather named James Akins/Akin/Aikin. My 6th and 7th great grandfathers were both born in Ireland but emigrated to Maryland/Pennsylvania (the area that my 6th great grandfather settled in, West Nottingham, was claimed by both Pennsylvania and Maryland and was the cause of the Mason-Dixon Line being run, due to Cresap's War.

My 5th great grandfather, James Akin(s) who lived in Chester Co., Pennsylvania in the early 1770s moved to Mecklenburg Co., North Carolina in 1777 where he purchased 200 acres of land just outside of Charlotte near Steele Creek.
