As a youngin I saw it in a half-empty, tiny smoky mall theatre in Florida. Was on vacation when it dropped.

All I remember is mostly full ashtrays in the seats, old coots who I thought were Florida geezers but really slowly dying New Yorkers coughing up their last breaths during the quiet suspense scenes.

Theatre was ice cold, I thought I had frostbite. Step directly outside into the Florida summer sun and you'd swear you were just thrown into a volcano.­

Now Florida is baggy and gay, and kids my age just sit in their Pavlovian bedrooms staring at flash screens until their brains stop working :sad:
