Topic: Every listen to country-music lyrics? They're so defensive.

I had to listen to a bunch of it today and it was all about how the singer is so proud to be born and raised in the middle of nowhere and how he's soooo much better than those big-city jerks who laugh at him. The singer keeps INSISTING that he's REALLY HAPPY and would never trade places with ANYONE.

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

Play country music backwards, and you sober up, get out of jail, and get back your wife and pickup truck.

1) Country music isn't hyphenated
2) There are literally millions of country music songs. Listening to 10 songs doesn't qualify you to comment on the entire catalog.

1) "Country music" isn't hyphenated, but "country-music lyrics" is. Do you see why? Take your time, think it through. We'll wait.

2) I listened to about 35 country-music songs. That's enough to form an accurate assessment of the genre.

There was one song where the singer was complaining that his son wore his baseball cap backwards and listened to P. Diddy instead of Merle Haggard. I kid you not.

35/1,000,000 is not a large enough sample to form an opinion.

That's a completely valid complaint.

How's that any different than any rap song.

It isn't. That's my point.

There's a huge difference between this kind of country music (which I really like):

And this kind of country music (which I absolutely despise for its negative anti-White stereotypical propaganda):

If you are a red neck you listen to country. Most liberals listen to rock and alot of other crap. So if you listen to other stuff you are either a liberal or a closet liberal.

I've never considered myself a redneck or a Republican; but you would be hard pressed to convince anyone that my positions are liberal.
