The layoffs aren't over.  I'm waiting for the second round from the likes of Alphabet + Microsoft.  After that, I think we're looking at a third round.

These cuts should do wonders in the investment banking space.

Every bank I know is in firing mode right now, even as NRFF profit has gone through the roof. In Singapore they made all this noise about 50,000 new banking jobs but as far as I can tell nobody is hiring and cuts are coming.
