Ask the 10K Canadians who would rather die than live in Canada last year.

How to not be afraid of dying
1. have tard kids 2. have a wife who got fat, no sex 3. have constant bills, everyone wants money from you 4. have a job that sucks the life out of you 5. have intermittent health problems I've told everyone, when my times comes, I'm fully on board. Just end it for fucks sake. Unregistered Posted 2/5/2023 5:42 pm
I like the NDE explanation. It's emphatically not religion but it's the one thing that makes perfect sense even from this side of the veil.

NDEs are activity of a live brain, not of a dead person. Think for a minute about the absurdity of the typical NDE report. You move through a dark tunnel toward a bright light (reminiscent of the birth canal, FWIW). And then, depending on your religion and temperament, you are greeted by Jesus or the Buddha or your family members. Now, ask yourself. When your cat dies, is he greeted by other cats after passing through the dark tunnel to the white light? Or is that only for humans? If it is only for humans, when did it start happening -- when humans were Neanderthal, Cro-Magnon, or earlier than that? NDEs are brain activity akin to dreams, not a special view of an afterlife. |
