One of the reasons the US is collapsing now is that Americans think that decay will be stopped by becoming Fascists and Communists. OP I didn't read the article.  "Property" in law means a set of legal rights.  NOT lawful rights, LEGAL rights.  Which means civil (tort) law.  It deals ONLY in legal fiction (maritime law relating to contracts).

IF you comprehend that "property" is NOT something physical, but merely a set of man-made set of rights, which were created at the stroke of a pen, and can be withdrawn at a stroke of a pen, THEN you might start showing some fucking interest in how the world actually works.
