Should be Harboring Drunks Fest. I went exactly once and swore never again. Beer + extremely hot weather + minimal shade = reeking piles of puke. The Boones are a couple of dirty players.

Over the years they have pulled every nasty trick in the book to force out affordable housing and independent businesses in East Ocean View to accomodate Judy's vision of gentrification. If you have a business that comes close to competing with anything they own, ie a dining establishment, they will, with the help of their City Hall connections, do everything they can to dictate hours of operation or try to influence the granting of an ABC or entertainment license. If you have a property they covet, they will nitpick and complain about code violations but at the same time ignore any of the laws that apply as well to their own properties (until they get caught).

Too bad the "Mayor of Ocean View" didn't die of ass cancer when she had a chance.

When your main office building gets hit with a search warrant from the FBI and they cart off boxes of documents that's never a good sign.

NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Daniel Painter, the owner of the famed lion dog, will be back in court Friday morning after he was charged with failing to control an animal again, according to online court records.

The misdemeanor charge follows a series of other charges and court appearances the Charles the Monarch owner has faced in the past.
The labradoodle has been seen in the past roaming the streets and eating at a local restaurant off-leash.
Painter was found guilty in Circuit Court June 20 of a nuisance charge and was ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 and perform 40 hours of community service.
He is expected to face a judge in Norfolk General District Court on Friday at 10 a.m.

Oh God, yes.
