I want to build Cat City.

If I'm successful, my dream is to build Cat City. Anyone who wants to get rid of their cat can bring it to Cat City, so they don't have to throw them out on the street.

You have to admit a dream of building a Cat City is just a half-hallway down from the :insane: ward.

"We Built This City" performed by the cast of "Cats"?

You all are in jeopardy of a civil action.

Let me get this straight: a hobo who lives on a used car lot is going to sue people who made fun of him for living on a used car lot.

One image I like is of a hobo who lives in a cat piss-encrusted trailer playing a "real estate mogul" on some show no one's ever heard of.

Seems like there are multiple levels of irony there.

Now retired but very much active and driven. Mature, responsible, aware, and goal-oriented. Exceedingly friendly. No attitude problems.

Name one goal you've achieved.  And your attitude is what got you in this fuckery.

I'm a professional musician and writer.

Not if no one pays you for it, you're not.  You're as much a professional writer and musician as I am a professional baseball player.

It's like referring to yourself as a "portfolio manager" because you have $5,000 invested in a mutual fund.

He keeps bumping his Craigslist ad on Twitter - tweets it out every day.

Besides the F2 mention, this is my favorite line in his CL ad:

Now retired but very much active and driven. Mature, responsible, aware, and goal-oriented. Exceedingly friendly. No attitude problems.

"Now retired" - retired from what? The guy hasn't had a W2 job in 20 years.

"Mature, responsible, aware, and goal-oriented" Again, see the part about him being a mooch and a grifter for the past 20 years.

"Exceedingly friendly. No attitude problems." Tell that to the lady who JerJer pulled the gun on a few years ago.

:snicker:

why doesn't Jerry move to San Francisco? I would think an aging hobo would fit right in there.

I am so in the wrong place. How I ended up in Lancaster is a brutal and sad story. I was pursuing a 2nd Masters in Music Production from the Academy of Art University. I was half way through the program when my school loans got cut off. I had to fix my credit before they could resume loan payments.

My credit is bad, but not that bad. Debt is under 5K. I was pursuing the 2nd Masters largely for training in Pro Tools. The school sucked. I've been spoiled by going to one of the best universities, U of MN. I earned a self-designed BS in Songwriting and a Masters in Liberal Studies.

School was a wrong move. I maintained a 3.6 GPA but the degree did nothing in terms of songwriting success. Going to school was a reaction to what happened to me in NYC. I felt like a failure. I wondered if I was stupid. School was to prove I'm smart. Clearly I did not have to do this.

Notice how he fails to address the root of all of this.
"I'm getting a job at Home Depot so that I can pay my bills and stop mooching off of others. Then I'm going to get a 2nd job on the weekends and use that income to pay down the $5k in debt. For the first time in my life I am going to act like a responsible adult."
But no, in typical Flattum fashion, he rambles on about how he needs new keyboards and a new laptop and that he dreams of going on tour.
