I do. Use it for work, gave it a massive screen and it's very comfortable. No particular reason, just seems to work fine and I have plenty of room to accommodate it here.

You know, you can hook a monitor to a laptop...
Unregistered Posted 6/20/2015 11:30 pm
I prefer a desktop, they are more reliable and easy to upgrade.

Laptops don't have the graphics cards that I need.

For the same money you can get a more powerful desktop than a laptop.

I have one attached to my living room HDTV.
Watching movies on a laptop is annoying. I'd rather sit on my living room couch, put my feet up on the coffee table, watch the movie on a bigger HDTV screen, and start/pause/control volume with a 2.4ghz wireless keyboard & mouse. Unregistered Posted 6/21/2015 12:30 am
The indie .99 avatar Xbox games don't count Unregistered Posted 6/21/2015 12:31 am
Same. It's hooked up at all times to play video games / movies 24/7 and it never moves Unregistered Posted 6/21/2015 12:33 am

I did that. Pain in the ass. If you do it wirelessly, the video can become choppy & laggy. If you do it with cables, it's a hassle to constantly carry your laptop over to the TV, and attach & detach cables. Additionally, by having a desktop PC attached to my living room HDTV, guests can surf the internet on their own, while I work on my laptop in another room, or if I'm at work, and I took my laptop with me. Wrong. You're needed in the hot pockets thread. Unregistered Posted 6/21/2015 12:39 am
