Topic: Why so few cases of Wu Flu in Africa?

Because their life expectancy is only about 60?
Because HCQ is widely available for malaria prevention?
They have a lot of vitamin D from the sun?
It is curious.

Don't test, don't tell works.

All 3, plus good natural immunity from living close to the dirt, HCQ is in so many people's systems for malaria prevention and they have a ton of natural vitamin D.  It's a good combo.

Could be.  No testing means asymptomatic people don't account for the majority of the numbers like in the west. Also no financial reward for hospitals to count heart attack victims as Covid deaths if they test positive.

lots of sun.
UV light kills the virus in 2 hours.

Widespread use of HCQ.
High-levels of Vitamin D due to the sun.
Open homes with extreme levels of ventilation.
Population that hasn't been subject to decades of flu vaccine.

Also, you have to remember that 94% of the people who have died from Covid have an average of 2.6 other co-morbidity factors.  Only 6% -- or about 12,000 -- have died with Covid alone.

In Africa, they would probably attribute death to the other factors,  and 12,000 deaths wouldn't even be a blip on the radar screen of the continent that has the worst-documented healthcare systems on the planet.

The "other" comorbidities are #1 heart disease and #2 beetus.

Due to their diet which is primarily plant matter and lacks fat/sugar, they basically don't have #1 or #2 in any significant quantities.

Hence why in the US the fatty fried chicken eating blacks and unhealthy donut laden whites are falling like fly's while the rest of us are immune.

There are no public health monitoring systems in place to take down statistics or compare notes. Who knows how many actually die from it, and yes Africans have numerous comorbidities and parasitic infections.

Because COVID is an incredibly mild disease with an IFR of 0.13%. There are diseases running rampant through Africa that are orders of magnitude more dangerous.

A majority of Africans believe that raping a virgin baby is a proven cure for AIDS.  I don't think we want to know their ideas of how they're avoiding or curing COVID-19.

Because 23 is the highest number in Africa.

The WuFlu was engineered to kill old Chinese.

This. Plus, you have to remember that in most of the world, the really high-risk victims of COVID are those over 70.

In Africa, the average life expectancy is only 61 years (according to WHO figures).

That's in the US, along with obesity.

But Africa has about 80% of the world's AIDS cases, and essentially all of the Ebola and 10 other diseases.  Their co-morbidities are not going to be the same as our. Heart disease and beetus are disease of the well fed.  India and Africa have the diseases of abject poverty.  And the latter are far worse.
