It's a blip in our history. America is in the process of going back to the Citizens. It will take a while.

No, it can be a new beginning.

We can come out of this hating China, and wanting to take manufacturing back.

We can also come out of this saying that "no, we can't squander out economy with debt to save everyone over 75" -- which is precisely what Medicare is on a path to doing

This event has the potential to change the direction of Chinese outsourcing, Medicare debt, political correctness, and so many other things -- if we respond to it correctly after it's over.

No doubt in my mind, Socialistic policies will be enacted to ensure that the next time this happens, things will not be as worse.

We should have done this years ago.

Nothing bad ever happens in socialist systems!

Except that China, Italy and Spain have government healthcare.

Idiot.

Infrastructure projects are going to start up.

Needed mfg, steel, concrete, wood, etc are gonna pick up.

Companys deemed vital to country will move inland and be most protected.

Farm, agg and all attached will be the back bone.

I can see Congress passing legislation that a certain % of vital products -- steel, microprocessors, antibiotics, military replacement parts and about 50 other product categories have to be produced in the US, Canada or Mexico.

IMHO I see greatness coming from this.

Some bumps and bruises along the way, oh well.

AGG machinery and Military machinery will hit a boom.
