Everyone does it. The Japanese the Finns the middle easterners everyone.

Why don’t Americans practice this habit of good hygiene?

I'm doing everyone a favor.

The reek coming off my feet, especially in the summer, is fucking insane. That shit basically has color, substance, and hang time.

I've tried literally everything but I can even stink up a flip-flop. It's disgusting and embarassing and these shoes aren't coming off.

And that is to say nothing of my toenails, which can be used to climb trees.

I put booties on my dog, Mr Snuffles, when he comes in the house

Most Americans wear worn out socks, many with small holes.

I spread dog poo inside my boots.
It keeps sand flies away.
You don't want me to remove my boots.

We do. We keep our shoes on. We don't take them off and let our feet get dirty.

I don't care what you do, your floors are not clean, especially your kitchen AND BATHROOM floors.

Not clean.

(Actually, I take my outside shoes off and wear my indoor slippers.)

Now their socks are full of the piss they picked up walking into the bathroom and the grease the picked up in the kitchen.

Their socks are piss and grease sponges, and their tracking filth all over the house.

73% of the world live in such disease-ridden, filthy shitholes, that they can't risk treading anything into their 'homes' for fear of epidemics.

Presumably they put on new socks prior to arrival so not an issue

One way to mitigate risk is to provide all guests with new socks

Well, they'd have to keep changing into clean socks during their whole visit.

You walked out of the bathroom in those filthy piss sponge socks?

You walked all over the house in those piss sponges?

You didn't change into clean socks as you were stepping out of the bathroom?
