Topic: Huey Lewis sounds as good - if not better - than their 80's hey day

TLDR: Huey Lewis came down with Ménière’s disease, "which causes vertigo, ringing in the ears and hearing loss that comes and goes. "

I just listened to their new single, and really, it's as good as anything they did in their 80's heyday - Huey's voice hasn't aged, and the band is as tight as ever. The only difference is there are no synths in the new song. It's like listening to vintage Huey Lewis without the extra synths and production.

In other words, the way a real blues band should be.

This is the sound Jerry Flattum tried to emulate.  And even at Huey's age with whatever disease he has, his performance is 10x anything Jerry can do.
