And at 67¢ per 2-liter bottle, it's a steal. The other two are more expensive even when on sale.

it is not brain surgery to make the stuff and likely all comes from the same chemical plant

Is it just one type of cola or are there many variants?

I actually like most store brands for the weirdness.

Just one as far as I know.

That's Aldi's whole bidness plan. Cut down on the varieties. Stock only the most popular stuff. Does a grocery store really have to carry fifty-seven varieties of toothpaste?

Any fool who does not buy Aim or Pepsodent or Ultra White toothpaste is a fool.
But what toothpaste does Aldi have?

No, not tootphaste but 57 different colas would be nice.

I used to prefer Coca Cola as it wasn't sickeningly sweet like Pepsi, but one day I bought an 8 pack(16oz. tall glass bottles ) and it tasted different, too sweet for me. That is the day I quit drinking soda. Looking back that may have been when they started using HFCS in it.

You are part of the reason name-brand colas are $3 a bottle, or whatever they are. (I don't even buy them on sale for 99¢.)

Got to pay for all that floor space occupied by all that shelf space.

Cut the choices down to one of few types of cola (the big sellers, the ones in high demand), reduce the cola-dedicated floor space, and drop your prices.

:mittens:

That's Aldi. Concentrate on the high-demand groceries instead of housing acres of stuff most people rarely buy.

Hey, pal, do you carry talcum powder?

Certainly, sir. Walk this way.

If I could walk that way I wouldn't need the talcum powder!

I went through about 7-8 years without drinking any kind of cola. But once I crossed 40 it was Diet Coke season.

Then I remembered the Diet Coke craze of the 90s when all the dumbshit baby boomers started drinking it like it was their children's and grandchildren's bone marrow

RC Cola was always the best. White Rock cola a close second.

All ancient history for me, I haven't regularly drunk sugary soft drinks, or diet ones, in years. That shit gives you the 'beetus.

No. As the other guy said, unless you drink all three liters at one sitting, the last two are going to be flat.
