Libtards have no idea or care how much that destroys small businesses and how it would drive up inflation.

A simple example for simple liberals.
Right now a combo meal at most fast food places cost close to an hour of min wage. How many combos will they sell when the average price for a regular combo will sell for $15?

Lib logic: raise the price of something and demand for it stays the same! Maybe even increases!

"cost thousands of jobs"  ...  and what's the unemployment rate in NYC among people who can pass a piss test and are ready and willing to work?

basically FUCKING ZERO, even with the $15 minimum wage

so tell me, 'baggotrons....  who the fuck would have filled these thousands of theoretical very low wage NYC jobs anyhow?

One way or another its you who's gonna pay. higher prices for higher wages, or higher welfare cost for lost jobs.

Sure they do. The politicians benefit from this. When mom and pop shops close up, big chain stores move in.

There can be no "lost jobs" if a local job market is already at full employment the way NYC is.  If businesses there can't find workers at $15+ an hour, they sure as fuck weren't going to find any at $6 or $8.
