It's been very stable for almost a decade. The question is whether Putin will double down on bad economic policy or not. It could really go either way, none of his thievish cronies stand to lose much since they don't keep their assets in roubles.

Besides risk of default, it's important to also price in any risks of dealing with such banks. New laws can be passed to prevent removal of capital from the country, etc.
