A Minnesota state lawmaker apologized after snatching a microphone from the hand of his female opponent and then dropped it in front of her at a public forum.
Democratic representative Jamie Mahlberg appeared startled when her Republican opponent Duane Quam grabbed the microphone from her on Monday night.
Quam, 58, a four-time Republican representative and Mahlberg, were debating the issue of education funding in front of a public audience.
