So for a family vacation, if we're choosing between Disneyland (LA) and Disney World (Orlando), we should probably choose Disney World?

If you're staying around Disneyland it's fine. The resort hotels are awesome, and one of them has an entrance right into California Adventure.

Traffic in LA is world-famous. The worst I have ever seen. However, the flip-side is that there are 12 lane wide freeways everywhere. Kinda wish they had more trains, but then, they would be full of so, maybe the freeways aren't so bad after all.

But the problem is that Disneyland is small, and if you want to see anything else in the LA area, you're going to be bogged down in brutal traffic.
For a family vacation, the Orlando area is better. Stay at a Disney World hotel, visit all the Disney World theme parks, plus Universal Studio theme parks, plus Sea World. Most of the main attractions are south of downtown Orlando. There's probably no reason to even bother going into downtown Orlando, since it's filled with black people & violence.

I lived 12 miles from my office on the west side of LA, I drove up the 405 90% of the way there. It was a minimum of 40 minutes ones way some days it was 1:30 one way. I'd say the average was about 50 mins one way. I moved out of Cali and now drive the same distance in 10-15 mins.

Other than the Metro downtown and the blue line, few spics on the trains like Metrolink.

This must have been some time ago. That same commute would be 1:30 on a GOOD day.
Thanks Mexicans.

Lets be fair now. Mexi's aren't the cause of it all. Ever been to the Armenian shithole called Glendale? Or Koreatown?
No? Because you're not in L.A. that's why.

just did a week in orlando. Glad I don't have to do that shit again.
The few upsides were the deep sea fishing and renting a house with a pool in the back yard. I would have killed myself if I was stuck in a standard hotel room with the kids for a week. The theme parks were a nightmare.
