It's almost better than anything. I feel so much sharper than back then in 2008 when I started doing chemistry.
What's your story, what prevented you from taking chemistry in the Uni?

General Chemistry by Linus Pauling is one of the very best textbooks that I've read.

You can not take just one course in chemistry, fail in it, and then say - okay, I think I am going to take history. It doesn't work like that. This stuff is HARD, but you will grow to love it.
It's almost like one day you wake up in the morning and realize that you can do chemistry.

Chemistry = not hard once you memorize the basics. And yes, I work in the chemical industry.

But there are levels in chemistry. You can memorize things and do fine. But for some of us the things start to have a meaning of their own - you will break the things down one by one, examine it, and understand it fully.
It is sage-like experience. You have become a sage.

Perhaps you are not quite there yet. Like I said, there are levels in it.

Yes - but only delivered to a plant/lab in solution.

Is Methylamine extremely difficult to synthesize or something? It's always mentioned as the bottleneck in meth production.

Took it in HS for college credit. I liked it, but liked physics better.

I see in chemistry. I can see the chemical reactions taking place, whether rapid or extremely slow - the breaking and creating bonds. I see reactions and formulas in my dreams.
That's the level of chemistry where I am.

I never got over the traumatic chemical catastrophe of my teacher spilling KMnO4 all over my cauliflower cheese.
