Research In Motion WAS Canuckistan's tech industry. Unfortunately, it's being beaten into submission by iOS and Droid as if it were a helpless baby seal absorbing a horrific clubbing.

If you go back a few years, it was Nortel - at one point they were about 30% of the TSX. ATI (before they were brought out by AMD) were pretty big, too.
The main reason is that investing in technology is seen as being a lot riskier than the resource stuff, so lots of small Canadian tech companies end up going to US capital markets to get funding, and hence tend to end up as US companies.
Jews are the primary leaders of the US tech industry.
They are the entrepreneurs etc.
Israel has more of a tech sector than Canada and Australia combined.
Judging by the employment numbers and amount of debt, it would seem that an economy based on finding useful things in the ground and selling them is better than ones built on Jewish ponzi schemes And tiny Joo ads. Just sayin.
But look at Canada & Australia today. All you hicks do is export natural resources. You guys don't contribute anything to the tech sector. You guys are no better than Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Nigeria, except that you have lighter skin.

So says teh failed trader and admitted scam artist kingmambo.
Get back to me when a dipshit nazi like yourself creates a google.

I'm not arguing against it. I'm sure Kuwait will be rolling around in money for awhile.
But exporting natural resources is a short-term plan. USA used to be the largest oil producer in the world, but we hit peak oil in the 1970s, and our oil fields have been in decline ever since.

What do all the Nortel & RIM Blackberry engineers end up doing? Working on oil fields? Growing marijuana? Chopping down trees like a lumberjack?
