Most atheists are attention whores, that's why. They love to drone on and on about their superiority and use idiotic terms like "sky fairy" and shit. The best part is when they screech about intolerance. You have to just stare. Hard. Still, their egos don't let them see the irony. There are far more quiet Christians than there are quiet atheists. Attention whores are just plain drawn to atheism.
You're nuts. There's 15 million TV preachers screaming about how God wants to kill us all, no Republican politician can speak for 5 minutes without mentioning God at least 20 times, and every Planned Parenthood clinic is surround by a hundred screaming religious nuts.
On the atheist side there just about only Dawkins who's at all aggressive about atheism.
Most Russians didn't even know there was a "cold war" going on. Just that America was fucking nuts and arming themselves to the teeth with nukes. All Russians want to do is drink vodka and do the odd ethnic cleansing here and there. They had no ambition for global domination like America did.
Yea. Communism would have fell decades earlier if it hadn't been for the continual threats to destroy Russia made by every U.S. president. Nobody wants to overthrow their government in times of threat.

Most who are atheists are pseudo-intellectuals. They feel that their disbelief in God places them intellectually, above the believers. Of course, their atheism is merely a facade for their below-average intelligence... and stupid people are typically, assholes. Hope this helps.
See, this is the textbook example of the intolerant, elitist atheist and his superiority complex; the world-weariness, the exasperation that the whole world doesn't recognize the super-special knowledge he possesses and believe exactly what he believes.
It is 2012, and there are more believers than non-believers. If the answer were face-palmingly clear, this wouldn't be the case.
The follow-up post will undoubtedly mention a sky fairy. I bet $5 on it.

Truth isn't determined by majority rule. Truth is determined by evidence and logic... neither of which the religious FAGGOTS make use of.
Perhaps those who twisted Faith into the mindfuck called religion had it partly correct. I tend to follow the North American Indian versions of The Creator, which does not include trying to control people with an angry God. Most religions are stuck on the anger/control theories.
And I said that if the "truth" as you call it were actually the undeniable truth, we wouldn't have so many believers.
You know, not all religious people are faggots. Some, but not all. There are religious inventors, scientists, doctors, innovators, leaders. People you probably know and like, or at least might respect.
