Going straight to chemo next month.

That is not good.

If you have a lot of heartburn/ reflux, the acid could have contributed to the weakened cells and cancerous condition.

If you are not a troll, I highly recommend that you do as much research as possible on your own. Read everything you can, check every resource online, alternative treatments, and YOU decide what is best. If your doctor does not agree, GET A DOCTOR WHO DOES AGREE.

Anecdotal, my friends:

Case#1 Had not such a high PSA level, but it had risen quickly in one year between physicals. Doctor said he was 50/50 on bothering with a prostrate biopsy because of the person's age, it was probably nothing. Patient decided he wanted the biopsy. Turns out it was an extremely aggressive, fast growing type of cancer and the Gleason score was 8 of 10 on the biopsy (that's bad). No biopsy as doctor had recommended would have led to death and probably cancer spreading to bones. Because of that biopsy, patient had no chemo, did have the latest in radiation, PSA now 0, no cancer spread, living life.

Case#2 Woman found a small lump in her breast. Went to doctor, had mammogram, found two cancer spots. Doctor wanted to do a partial mastectomy and remove all the lymph nodes. Friend researched intensely online, chatted with others, and decided how SHE wanted to approach the problem. Doctor said No. So she went doctor shopping until she found one to agree with her. She wanted to do the chemo first to shrink the tumors, and that's what they did. The tumors shrunk so much that they had to insert pellets to even find the tumors before the eventual lumpectomy (saves most of the breast unlike partial mastectomy or radical mastectomy.) Also, her doctor only took the 5 most significant lymph nodes which were all free of cancer. So she greatly changed what was done to her and her outcome by knowing all about her problem and then being demanding.

You take charge of your healthcare - don't totally trust them like a sheep.

I have had it for over 25 years now, and it has progressed to this.

We mormons baptize your dead, so that they are no longer jews.
Good news for you if you die as a jew! Or non-mormon!

Romney 2012! BAPTIZE THE USA!

What's the difference between pre-cancer and cancer? I'm assuming prognosis must be a lot better for pre-cancer.

Why would you say that? I am just new here. This board is cancerous. I wish I had not found this place.

Pre cancer means that I diagnosed myself by reading this article:

Yeah, this place is really rotten. But from your posts, it seems like you're insightful and intelligent. Too many people here are just so oppositional-defiant
