he does outsourced auctions now. he doesn't sell crap. that's why he may not be on the next season of the show as well. the producers don't think he's going to buy anything since he has no place to sell it.
I was laughing uproariously over his claims for what he'll get for the stuff. That unit packed with books that he claimed he'd get $15000 for? Total bullshit. Selling books is painfully time consuming and yields about a buck a book in the long, long run. So almost all those books got boxed up and put into a incinerator somewhere. YOU KNOW IT.

I saw some site that detailed all of his shady activity and scams. I totally fell in love with that trashy show recently. It's like crack.

I'm guessing he closed it because he's an arrogant shitty businessman who's way over his head running a business with huge overhead that requires massive turnover selling lots of junk.
It seems like a huge flawed business model that would be prone to all kinds of sudden cash flow interruptions.
The only way to do this the right way is to have a small business front like Brandi and Jarrod which has minimal overhead that you can cover even during lean months.

Aren't all the names on that Storage Wars show just shady crooks? The Hester liar; the old disgusting Jew that anyone can hate; the stripper and her drug-conviction BF; and that fat fuck whose face is reddened from years of heavy drinking? HOW DID THAT SHOW BECOME POPULAR?

I don't even believe those two are making it, either. I watched some of their stupid looting sessions. They put all sorts of junk on the shelf and like a fucking house flipper, they slapped a wising price on that crap and called it a day. Total bullshit. The Jarrod guy must be back to selling dope out the back door while the bitch's gotta be hookin', to make ends meet. After all, they're in CA, and their overhead is still fucking huge.

I don't see how Brandi and Jarrod's crappy little for-profit thrift store can compete with Goodwill or Salvation Army. It has to be a front for something.
