It's been over 80% on Intrade for more than a month... that's an indication that the fix is in.

Long shots are better bets when the outcome is not vulnerable to leaks.

Yeah, I am fully aware of this and I was all on-board with it until I actually sat down to watch the movie. And it's SHIT. IT'S SHIT.

And if you want to celebrate the "great era" of the silent film, it comes to half a dozen and five of them are Charlie Chaplin.

That provides even MORE reason not to bet against The Artist.

A movie that is not clearly the best yet enjoys >90% odds ==> the results were leaked.

In contrast, if results were not leaked and the odds for a certain movie were STILL at 90% (based just on the common belief that it is clearly the best movie), then it would make sense to take the long bet.
