No we didn't turn it into hell..the WWII generation did...they're still in charge...in their 90's...Henry Kissinger, Zbig, David Rockefeller, Maurice Strong. We will never be rid of these fuckers.
The baby boomers are like Prince Charles...he will be outlived by his mother and never accede to power.
Addressing this common stupidity on these here ebiz boards should become one of my missions in life.
It's true that the Boomers were born into a great world -- until they faced the prospect of being killed or maimed for life in southeast asia. But the rug was pulled out from under their futures and the future of America forever by the parents of the Boomers.
The central problem of the U.S. today is that it's no longer the U.S. This country is NOTHING like the country the Boomers grew up in. That's not because of anything the Boomers did. The Boomers were kids when their parents turned the U.S. over to a worldful of third-world animals.
Forever.
I feel sorry for the Boomers. They got to see what the U.S. was like. They know what's been lost. And I feel sorry for their kids and grandkids. They can never know what the U.S. was like.
Instead of inheriting the country that their "Greatest" generation grandparents or great-grandparents inherited, they get to live out their lives in the sort of non-American mess the Founders tried to prevent.
"Greatest" generation? How could you hand your children's inheritance over to a worldful of third-world animals?
I think the Ted Kennedy generation are the ones that really really fucked it up. They were too young to be GI and too old to be Boomers. They proceeded to shit all over everything while pretending to not exist.
