WTF is going to become of the united states? How will this play you? So much debt, no jobs, fewer industries to provide jobs and tax money.
I axe thee hivemind, tell us how you think this will play out and what the endgame will be. Complete collapse? End of pseudo democracy

I'm more curious what will happen to the military hardware. Does that mean Texas, and New Mexico will be the military kings of the new divided states of America?

It'll get, on average, poorer, as the coyote notices that he ran out of cliff.
Ageing population is going to drive down the price of paper as the paper gets liquidated.
Increasing sorting of population into enclaves.
Big game changers might be resource depletion (energy, mostly) and/or collapse of the dollar in some sort of feedback loop as everyone heads for the door.

America will be much poorer and far more dysfunctional. Most young americans, particulary the few white ones left, wants to emigrate, but there is nowhere they can go because the world is overfilled with people.

The scary part is that china effectively controls the pin of the grenade that could wipe us out. How fucking stupid a position to be in.
It's peak dollar. The dollar is less than worthless because you cannot use electronic bits as toilet paper at all, and you cannot use paper dollars as toilet paper because the ink will give you ass cancer - not to mention it is too rough for toilet paper.
Once the king of currencies, the collapse of the dollar will mean No Oil, but that has nothing to do with "peak oil". Imagine that - you have NO OIL, and anyone who wants to invade "your" remnant of a country has all the oil they want...

Their illusion of prosperity is ENTIRELY invested in sending cheap goods to the US in return for paper that will never amount to anything.
They still steal all their tech and replicate it poorly.
They still shit in holes.
They still rely on western capital management.
They do it all to keep a thin layer of their society in luxury who in return support their GLORIOUS LEADERS entrenchment.
It will all end very badly for them. They no longer have 5,000 years of Chinese tradition to fall back on. They wiped it out. It'll be anarchy and bloodshed like not seen in human history.
I think the point is that they intentionally dont rely on western capital management. They know what happened to the japanese (and now main street america as well). As they become richer and richer, they will cause the ire to grow at wall street. The chinks will be the marks that got away.
BTW, US trade counts for less and less of the chinese trade balance.
