I wonder if a class action lawsuit can be filed against Lara and CBS so that the public can get a court order to have whatever evidence (eyewitness, video, audio) released to the public, since it is our right to know exactly what was done to her and for how long.
the show is great. Ms.Logan is an amazing woman, and I am looking forward to the second episode. And the guy who wrote the comment above is a dick without a head (failure from the start).

The rumor out there is that once something is posted on the Internet it is in cyber space for ever! Someone posted the other day about a site Video.com to which there are posted 25+ videos of the attack and there ALL GONE. CBS and Lara did not have that ability, but your Tax Dollars "PAID TO CENSOR THIS FOOTAGE"!

Guys...do you seriously believe that a group of local women "camping out" at the square on that night? I find it quite hard to believe some woman remained there even after midnight and were brave enough to fight with dozens of frenzy men for a foreign reporter, who isn't even a moslem... Just a thought...

No one said there was a fight between them and the abductors.

True, but there is a description of a woman throwing her body over the reporter to protect her, and I believe there had to be at least one brave woman who would fight through the crowd who knew that she was going to get some help. Anyway, I'm quite interested in who pulled it. I personally believe that that the secret police definitely has something to with it as someone has already pointed out.

You, are all; filled to the brim, with shit, and dark colored poop! You're all wrong; and going to die from it! Get a life; get lifes! Go outside! Leave Lara Alone! Semi-colon!

oops! this is the link ->http://www.wikihow.com/Do-a-Two-Person-Arm-Carry
As you can imagine, it's too hard to keep doing the crabwalk, so naturally the carriers turn to the direction in which they walk, consequently spreading the carried person's legs wide apar..and if someone was pulling her hair from behind while she was being carried like that....I bet you can guess what would happen.. and what's worse, if the incident occurred after 1a.m., the assault could have lasted a lot longer than five hours, provided she was truly sighted by a group of women and then rescued by some soldiers. You see...muslim women don't go out until it is light...supposedly after feeding their men and themselves...

You are absolutely right! We all know something a lot worse could have happened to her... if it is the case I really hope that no videos or picture will ever surface, considering the state of mind in which she has been and will be...

Where did you get this information? It was a celebration that night, so there was still women and children out there after midnight.

As far as I know, it is a cultural taboo for women to be outside their homes, and no sensible women will ever camp out in that square especially on that "special"night. It is not a Western country...where some woman screams, and some hero will come to rescue her. Hundreds of men were at that spot, and no single man was trying to help her... Isn't this insane? Egyptian women should know well about Egyptian men... Let me ask you..did you see many women in the clip where Ms. Logan and her crew were recorded before the incident? I confirmed only one woman, and it seemed to have been shot much earlier than 1 a.m....That's why I assume that there were, if any, very few women on the site...
What I really wanted to say is that she and her crew were set up and she was intentionally humiliated in public, which really bothers me. It's a lot worse than raping itself, I imagine. Could you live it down if you were dragged around with your private parts hanging out in front of hundreds of onlookers taking pictures and all... She is a public figure for crying out loud! Should any videos or pictures surface, the damage would be a lot bigger for her than for regular people, who can just deny by saying "It wasn't me."... Anyway I am convinced that Islam is not such a peaceful religion as they claim.....and their culture is completely different from ours in that we have much more respect for other human beings especially for women...

We can even go further and assume that there were ZERO women at the site when she was abducted. The question is did the crew just stumble into a large mass of men? Or did gradually the mixed crowds disappear to be replaced by only men crowds? I mean what did the fixer think when encountering only men in the crowd? Shouldnt that been a warning to him to just stop?

Yeah i know. It bothers me too. Actually she would have been untouchable because she flew to Kairo to interview freaking Mubarak and she was a public journalist person. The set up thing is probably true and exposes a disdain and hate of the Egyptian military and secret service towards the west that is simply staggering. It was not only the person Lara Logan that was humiliated but also western journalism and the west itself. It does not help her being employed by an american TV network. The message of the Egyptian military could not be darker and more vicious.
There was no attempt at holding back. No restraint. The Egyptian military is an enemy of the west and it has clearly shown it to us. The question is: How do we deal with it?

So your saying rumor is that 25+ videos from the attack were posted on Video.com and are now gone. The way a video goes viral is that it is on the web enough time for others to down load it and spread it via reuploading it or sharing the link. If you post something with keywords that are on the black list that item will be removed with in a short time period some say 6 hours some say 12 but it depends on the spiders looking for said keywords.

Lara put herself in harms way,she venture to deep within that crowd of men for what she thought was a interview. She had gone far away from safety and good lighting and the mob knew that Lara was far away from help, and this is why, while assaulting her they dragged her deeper and further away to brutally assault her more. She was surrounded by men who had been given the OK to assault her, while all looked on especially the POLICE,who could have stopped it at anytime. If you notice in earlier footage Lara almost lead the charge herself into the middle of that mob of men.Lara had no fear at first because she wasn't thinking, and she thought "I'M A WAR REPORTER" this is before they ripped her panties off,and stuck their hands up her ass. They couldn't have position Lara any better for this setup to rape her.

I totally agree on the part that it was an insult against the West, the Judeo-Christian civilization. I can never take this lightly... As for what we can do to deal with it,..well I don't have any good answer..but at least we should switch to an energy source other than petrol and financially dry them up so that they can't buy Western weapons and develop weapons of mass-destruction.. and I suggest that any female western Journalist should be well aware of the danger and seek much heavier security when they cover stories in those countries. I really appreciate that she came forward with this painful story so that other female journalists can be well warned...
BTW, she told the Egyptian embassy where she was going to be...so if the Egyptian government at that time was involved with the incident, they could inform the perpetrators of her itinerary...it makes perfect sense to me how they could ever pull that off...

It was an insult to the entire Western World. I agree.
