It's been 10 months since her assault. I was wondering, what if she was an ultra conservative pro-lifer. She would have had a half Egyptian baby by now. What would she name it? Tahrir? Will every Egyptian men be forced to take a paternity test and whoever is the father gets executed? What would her baby look like?

All of this nonsense talk about an organized attack is just that...nonsense. We can see exactly how Egyptian males act when attacking a woman in the Sinz video. They absolutely do not cooperate -- it is every man for himself. Look at them clawing and shoving one another to get at that prize in the center of those three guys in the Sinz video. Imagine how much more frantic and animated the surrounding crowd would be when conducting sexual assault against a near-naked woman without the three guys as a barrier. They didn't cooperate. The cooperation thing is a device to make the fraudulent Part 2 scenario viable. Extending the period between her separation from Ray until dropping in the lap of the lady from 25 to "30 to 40" minutes doesn't change anything. There is no meaningful difference between 25 and 30 minutes and 40 minutes is only ten minutes longer. Stripped, groped, pinched, punched, beaten with sticks in the middle of Tahrir square; everything is consistent with that scenario.
you are absolutely right, aslo, we have not read or seen anything that involves woman getting "actually raped" in a public place, there are several sexual assaults on youtube from egypt over the last several months, there is that egyptian reporter who was saved by the egyptian police officer, Caroline sinz, and that egyptian movie star. they all have the same dynamic, a bunch of frenzied guys crushed together all trying to cop a feel and grab some cloth off. there is no organizationat all. the rapes we have been hearing about in the middle east happen when they are in a secure secluded place where they can take their time. and becuase they were unorganized, they would never get her to a secluded place anyway. it happened like she said.

there seems to be two prevailing points about the attack that some people will not let die, 1) that the time frame was well over an hour which invovles being abducted and brought to a secluded location 2) that there is all kinds of video and pictures of the assault.
if you notice something about the videos on youtube over the last 8 months of woman getting sexually assaulted, harrased and groped, I notice that footage is from an angle elevated in relation to the assault. and when you see the guys pawing at her you do not see one person pull out a cell phone and start filming. these guys are so packed together around their victims that unless you were standing right there, you could not get any decent footage. now do photos exist of the event, yes, but its not like there is tons of, up close raw footage, if there is, there is very little of it.
its like if the assault happened the way Lara said, its going to destroy the fantasys of many people on this thread.

I got to disagree with you about "organized" attack. Organized attack does not mean that that EVERYONE in the the croud would be from the police. Organized attack means that several instigators are involved. And they entice the croud.
Regarding a rape in a public place... come on, that has happened more than once. Was the rape of Muhtaran Mai not in public? Hasn't it ever happen here in America?
And as far as her account goes... what ever we hear is full of omissions. I would never judge her for it. Becides, the omissions really do point out to her having said way more than reached us. As someone said above, somehow we get a 15 min account of something that had been taking place over 30-40 min. It IS clearly cut and pasted. And how much of this she would remember, is very questionable. In general witness accounts are very inaccurate. Even more so for PTSD producing experiences such as this.
Regardless of ever she brought up/omitted, it is clear that what ever she revealed was enough for the womenin her profession to praise her courage, and to be greatful to her. And I do agree that journalists are probably much more aware of what has transpired there that night than we ever will. And it is ok. I would never fault her for it, if more information comes out. I would just want to give her a hug. Hopefully so would others.

Look at the sunnis and shiites, bosnian serbs, syria, and lybia killing and raping each other for sport.
I guess they do not even know the women they are willing to marry. I guess what makes it easier is that they know if the worst comes to worst, (no one says that a rape victim will be a good person necessarily)they can always have more than one wife. Under these circumstances polygamy makes a lot more sence. But it is a very remarkable and honorable thing that these men are doing.

Yea, and you call me a liberal nut-case (I am far from it), but I do agree that the guy is a douchebag. Not because he is concerned about Islamic influence on the Western Europe (trust me, I am too), but because there is nothing constructive in what he is saying. He is just breeding paranoya in some, and evokes resentment to "all concervatives" in others.
