Wow, I never heard of Natasha Kampusch until now.... Wow... What a strength in a ten year old child! Just incredible!
Raped or not... She did say (per Wikipedia) that she would not be willing to give any intimate or personal details... THis is her right. She is just so amazing. Where would a 10 year old child get so much strength?
What is sad about her story (all I know is what is on Wikipedia, is that you still see elements of self blame...even trace... in her having to defend herself. I mean, (I quote for Wiki): "She initially denied that they had made the trip, but eventually admitted that it was true, although she said she had no chance to escape during that time."

Hi guys I think it's time to dive into the end of the pool the last few pages have raised some new questions. I read over the Rue 89 article some things in the article made me think how they seem to draw some parallels to part two (both articles had three witnesses), the first thing to catch my eye was both articles said a soldier during the rescue had been hit in the nuts, I then wondered if the photographs of the guy with the big nuts was that soldier, I don't think so but it made for good graphics. I also noticed one of the witnessed the part number two mentioned things like ligament damage and trauma,(medical terms). I also noticed the one witness said he came upon her earlier in the evening the doctor in the Rue 89 article mentioned he had seen her earlier and then left a few minutes later. I don't know about you but when the doctor tells me it's going to be a few minutes enter a time warp, his focus on other patients makes him lose track of time, by the picture in the article he looks pretty busy to me, I guess that's why they put clocks in operating rooms. The other statement that made me wonder was that one of the witnesses in part two new that she had been taken back to the four seasons hotel, someone close to the military might note that, you think, one witness statement from part two said he would not intervene, but he made up only that he was not in the military, there were too many criminals and he would be murdered. The doctor and the two soldiers entered the crowd to effect a rescue surrounded by 200 thugs they've got bigger balls than the guy on the table, or were they in the crowd and just covering their asses. In the doctor's words (I witnessed the attack) maybe the arrival of troops cause them to intervene knowing help had arrived. I found it curious how readily the Rue 89 article was embraced, and help part two was dismissed yet it has similarities, I guess you have to have a press card for someone to take you seriously. I also reviewed. The tape of the press club awards I find that Lara Logan's acceptance speech seemed fragmented she had just been announced to all her colleagues not as the woman who covered the events in Tahir square but she was the story, the one thing she does not want to be noted for, the other recipient from Al Jazeera recounted her of adoption, imprisonment and torture may be they should have a new category, women reporters that put themselves in extreme danger and live to tell the tale.
He couldn´t confess because he trew himself in front of a train the very minute she fled to the police and he KNEW he was screwed. Believe me these reports are not true. There were rumors that she had a baby by him but that also is not true (doctor examined her after rescue)
the matter is very complicated and complex because for instance she has totally broken with her family (doesn´t speak with her father anymore) There seems to be matters unresolved. Maybe you want to know that she tried to be a TV host in Austria. They collected the sums given to her as she gave her interviews in a special fonds to ensure her wellbeing and education. So...no one has given up her yet. Another trivia: As she was freed and afterwards the police remarked that she could speak and write exceptionally well for her age (she has educated herself in the cellar)
Men make a big deal out of it too. Rape is not exclusively something that only affects or interests women. Men and children are also affected by it (in this particular argument i don´t want to point out the sexual abuse of men and children) because the attacked woman is the wife/mother and something vital in the family structure may be damaged because of that. Plus: Sexual abuse is a mix of sexuality and humiliation and that is something everyone of us can relate to. Killing is not because in the present day there is no living who was killed and returned to life after it. That´s the reason Killing is more abstract in tone.

I should add to that the very idea of using rape as a punishment which this character seems to say is, at least, occasionally permissible -- seems to be a very comfortable philosophy for some potential "executioners."
There are also people who can speak with pride about beheading, arm-amputation "under local anasthesia" as a reasonable punishment for theft. In Russia such sickos worked for KGB, but when that was over, they switched to killers for hire.
The problem is that you arguably don´t care about Lara Logan. While this is - of course - entirely acceptable (you don´t need to like everybody or care for anyone) it opens the door for counters like questions surrounding what you care about. One could also say that what you said about deaths and rapes is also at least the implication that you do care more about killed people than raped people. That´s the problem with forums as these: You must carefully weigh what you say and stand behind it even if you are anonymous.
The problem is that he - accidentally or not - put the finger on a bleeding wound (especially in the U.S.) While it is NOT permissable for the state to rape and torture it is permissable for the state to kill convicted killers (sometimes multiple or serial rapists) That´s a paradox the vast majority of the west (no death sentences in EU-Europe and many periphals) always put forth.
In Old Rome there was a pretorian commander names SEJAN. Sejan as a willful politician sought to accumulate great wealth and power. He even was successful in persuasing the emperor himself Tiberius out of Rome to a kind of selfimposed "exile". But then Tiberius learned of Sejans tinkering. He went back to Rome instilled his nephew the young Caligula to his heir and then destroyed Sejan utterly. Sejans Daughter - she was not even adult - was imprisoned and sentenced to death. But in old Rome virgins could not be executed for crimes. They enjoyed special status and protection. So the executioner raped her and took her virginity and then executed her. That was chronicled by very many famous historians who are not regarded as liars. It really happened.
I have heard from Iranians that this is also what happens in Iran. When I asked about the fact that rape is not exactly condoned by Islam, they said that the Religious Police use the following as an excuse: "they do it because they do not want the "criminal" to go to heaven (apparently all virgins go to heaven)." I had been told that by several separate women.
Actually, I am also already getting very curious. What does this guy care about, does he have "compassion" on anyone? But he seems to shy away from your questions. Coward.
Oh, and he was sick on the day they taught how to talk to women. He is still pretty sick.
