or myspace (although i'm sure i've been there a couple times over the years), i don't even really know what twitters are (i think they're like txt messages, right?) ... the internet has totally passed me by. up until a couple months ago, i thought "reddit" was a part of rense.com
and now i'm reminded me of the fact that i haven't seen 95% of the movies or television shows you guys reference on a daily basis. i'm so out of the loop.
are there any other complete loner freaks out there like me?
Yep. I have a facebook account that I never log into. I've never had a myspace or a twitter page, I still don't know what "reddit" is. Current music and movies are things I generally don't know about (with one or two exceptions). I have accepted my situation. Most popular culture is overrated crap anyway.
nah. you know duckman is intimately familiar with every social networking and dating site in the biz. i'm like duckman's gay little brother -- you know, the one who's always too tired, shy, and disinterested to be a successful psychopath.
shit, i can see it now ...
okay, kids, before we begin, let's go around the table say what we're thankful for. i'll start. i'm thankful that the 24-year-old CPA your father's been stalking on reddit for the past three months turned out to be an FBI agent and now that piece of shit isn't here to ruin thanksgiving.
\
i'm thankful that the hot little number i spied on facebook this morning has an old-fashioned wheelchair, and not one of those bulky electric ones.
\
i'm thankful that the arresting officer only took one of my eyes.
\
i'm thankful that i finally beat ninja gaiden after 16 years of trying.

it's the same with computers. considering i've probably spent the majority of my time since '94 in front of a PC, you'd think i'd have learned a thing or two about them by now. i haven't.
i spend all of my time doing drugs and daydreaming about stupid, childish nonsense. i am probably the least educated, least useful, and most socially withdrawn member of this board.
nope. i play through new games just to check them out, but rarely ever do i play online. i probably only play 2 - 3 hrs / wk. the games i still do play regularly are fucking ancient, which is hilarious when you consider how much i spend on computer parts.
i think that's my biggest prob. when i find something i like, i "really" stick with it, and i'm not very open to new things. i haven't listened to any music for years...
oh, and another thing i've never done: been to a concert, or even heard live music with my own ears.
yeah, i know. i just thought it was funny. people really treat me like a potentially dangerous freak irl when they find out i don't have a facebook account and have never seen star wars or indiana jones.
so did i. instant messenging was very popular when i was in middle school, too. although it was icq and not aim at the time. i got kicked out of high school during my first year, though, so i really don't know what sort of sites and shit were popular during that period.
