You hit it spot on. While tries to prove his manliness by crying about fags buying Apple products, technically the iPad misses a large group of users by failing to provide Flash support. Most webpages will not be rendered correctly on it.
It should also have a basic slots to handle SD at minimum.
It's not that I am a Trev, it's that you are a moron.
This device has a form factor targeted toward the Kindle market. The iPhone's interface is good for navigation, but not as useful for books. And the lack of Flash support is a deal killer.
It's exactly what it needed to be. Anyone who has used an iPhone or an iPod Touch for an extended period of time has thought, "Shit, I wish my computer worked like this, instead of the piece of shit I have now." The Trev whining is off the charts, as usual, although it's still not as bad as the Trev whining after the iPhone was first demoed.
It doesn't have one of my bizarre feature requests. FAIL.

Why hasn't the lack of Flash support been a deal killer for the iPhone and iPod Touch?

exactly. for at least a decade, i have only ever owned tablets / convertible notebooks, and not a single one of them ever wow'ed me like the iphone did. first thought that went through my mind while playing with it was i can't wait until they make a tablet version of this thing.

Yup. Apple demos a slim, lightweight tablet computer with an OS designed specifically for touch input and all the frothy Trevs can come with by way of criticism is the lack of Flash. All the previous attempts at tablet computers have been bulky, heavy pieces of shit that use a stylus and a version of Windows that just adds a few utilities for handwritten text. The multitouch tablets the PC manufactures were showing at CES this year were all twice as thick as the iPad and presumably much heavier. It's a game changer.

i'm actually kind of bummed that there's no stylus, though. drawing is one of the big reasons i switched to tablets in the first place. but the ipad is so cheap, i might just get a cintiq or something as well.

Do YUO have to take it to the "Apple Store" to replace the battery?
OH, I THINK MY BATTERY IS WORN OUT
\
LEAVE IT, WE'LL MAYBE BE DONE IN A DAY, IT COSTS $450 TO REPLACE
\
OH SHIT, MY NEIGHBOR REPLACED HIS ACER LAPTOP BATTERY FOR $40 AND CHANGED IT HIMSELF.
