In all seriousness, it's a horrible PR development for Romney.
Look, I know this board is chock full of racists, but you can't just pretend the black vote doesn't exist. No matter how much you try and disenfranchise it.
And even if you STILL don't like black people, Romney is running for president. If he can't connect with 13% of the population, that's a major problem no matter how you look at it.
And then there's the whole issue of reflexivity. Meaning, it's not even that 12-13% are to be written off, but the appearance that you can't even manage the respect of this group rubs off negatively on the rest of the population. The message being "This guy can't lead."
The black vote doesn't matter. It's in the bag for Obama and nobody else gives a shit about the NAACP.
That's those nogs who actually vote. Many nogs are in jail or cannot vote due to felony convictions. Many nogs have never bothered to register. Many nogs who have registered won't go vote. Not all blackamoors who vote will vote for Obongo. So big fucking deal.
Why do you think they do? The Dems have zero chance of losing them, the Repubs have zero chance of gaining them. So why should either side expend their limited resources on them? Much cheaper just to call the other side racists (Dem strategy) or race baiters (Repub strategy) and move on.
Blacks only matter in a few key states. VA, OHIO, FLA. Romney can win without them, but he has run such a mediocre campaign to this point, that it is unlikely to happen.

He's going to win without Ohio?
Excuse me, I meant he's going to win without Ohio and Florida?
