If your home survives and you aren't flooded you will need provisions for at least two weeks. Don't be one of those dumbasses on television crying about not having anything.

1. FOOD - for fucks sake. You can get a months worth for about 300 bucks. Hell, get MRE's if you have to. Don't be dumpster diving like some fucking dumbass.
2. HEAT - for fucks sake. Buy a kerosene heater and 20 gallons of fuel, that's 4 containers, fill em up and keep'em in the garage. Wool blankets and sleeping bags, you stupid fucks.
3. WATER - for fucks sake. Get 2 55 gallon drums and 5 7 gallon containers. Get a Big Berkey filter. Get hydration packs & Nalgene containers.
4. COOKING - for fucks sake. Get an LP gas stove and two bottles of propane before the fucking storm hits. Get some pots to boil water for a sponge bath too.
5. DEFENSE - for fucks sake. Get a shotgun and a rifle, load them and the magazines.
6. COMMS - for fucks sake. Get a few 2way radios for the family. Get an emergency radio.
7. LIGHT - for fucks sake. Get flashlights, kerosene lanterns and batteries.
8. HYGEINE - for fucks sake. Get a few sponges to clean yourself. Soap & detergent, etc. Sanitizer, gloves & shit, masks, bleach, hand wipes
9. CLOTHES - for fucks sake, make sure you have enough clothes to last a few weeks BEFORE the fucking storm hits. Don't be caught doing laundry in 90mph winds.
10. GASOLINE - for fucks sake. Fill up the damn car BEFORE the storm, keep another 20 gallons on standby for emergencies.
11. SAFEKEEPS - for fucks sake. Lock up the family photos and important documents in water tight containers, put in a safe or something. Or take them inland to a relatives house.
12. EVAC - for fucks sake. If you have to hump it out, have a map and a fucking plan.
13. MEDS - for fucks sake. Make sure you have your prescripts filled BEFORE the fucking storm hits. Get a first aid kit.
14. TOOLS - for fucks sake hammer, nails, wrench, crowbar, knives etc.

For fucks sake, this ain't rocket science folks. It won't cost you a fortune to be prepared and you'll save yourself a whole lot of heartache.
