The beats are usually very good, but usually the only stuff that doesn't offend my ears pitch-wise is when they have westernised which scale they are using. Which is most of it these days. I think even they realised 16 notes in an octave was a bad idea.
Thinking about it, what I said earlier isn't true. My Dad did have a couple of stories about ripping off people who bought cars from him, this reminded me of one.
If a car was fucked and smoking for some reason, and it would cost more to fix than was worth it, he's just stick in the most expensive oil he could (he said it was some shit they used for a type of racing) and it wouldn't smoke.
They'd come back a month later saying
I don't know what the fuck is up with this car, all I did was change the oil and it's fucked!

It was fine when you bought it, and if you look on this receipt you'll notice two things. One, it says Caveat Emptor, and two, it also says sold for spare parts. I write this on all my receipts, better luck next time, now GTFO.

Test driving another car of the same model is fucking useless. Do I really have to explain why? You need to test drive it before negotiations. Like I said, it's probably a fucking lemon and they saw you coming a mile off, hence how they have been treating you.
I've given him another tin of tuna earlier, which he scoffed down pretty quick, he must like the stuff. I've heard things about there being a lot of mercury in tuna, is it safe to feed it him?
I also offered him half of the garlic sausage thing I was eating, but he just chewed the end and left it. obviously not to his taste.
He's just sat about purring now. Seems very happy.
Christ, I'm turning into one of those women who post about cats.
Only camera I have is the one on my crappy old phone.
I was once on routine patrol when I get a call of a burglary in progress. Unlike TV, they often escape. So I go down this alley and almost run over this black kitten. Yeah, the bad guys got away. So here is this kitten and me. I was raised around dogs, so I knew very little about cats. WTF do I do?.
In the trunk, we had boxes of flares. I took them out, put some holes in it and put the cat in it. I was going to take it home. My GF at the time, now my wife, stated "lets keep it". 11 years later this cat has been nothing but a joy. If am having a bad day, the cat knows it and will get on my lap and purr. Actually very relaxing.
sh, if you can do it, keep the cat and find joy in it.
Lovely story.
It all depends on whether he comes back when I let him out.
Like I've said, I live on the first floor so there isn't anywhere for him to wait around to be let in.
My Orange dude found me almost the same way. I was in an apartment and he just wandered up to my door one day. None of the neighbors had ever seen him there before. This was in a fairly large city.
Vet said he was healthy but had a lot of wear on his paws like he'd been walking on pavement a lot. He had also been neutered so someone had owned him at some point.
He was really good, never ever clawed the furniture or did anything else. I had his box on my outdoor patio, and he would go outside from time to time.
I could always whistle for him and wherever he'd be, he'd run to the door. I trained him to stay indoors at night and he liked hanging out on the back patio deck during the day.
He lived till age 17 and I knew he was going to go soon because he slept a lot. One day he laid down right at the foot of my bed while I was reading. He looked up at me once, laid his head down and then died quietly without making a peep.
I actually had him cremated and I have him in a little urn.
I know, I'm a retard. He just found me at a time of my life that was difficult and I appreciated it.
My cat was killed Saturday by two pit bulls that got loose. I went to the shelter and adopted another one the next day. The new cat is very friendly, but I sensed he was missing someone. He got out this morning and stayed gone all day. I thought maybe he went looking for his previous owner, but he eventually showed up at the front door around 10 PM.
That's sad about your old cat, sorry to hear it.
With your new cat coming back...I'm gonna have to do the walk thing and see if he stays with me. I wonder if he'll think I'm throwing him back out or not. It's just there is nowhere for him to come back and wait at.
This is all a little bittersweet for the gf, as today she's just gone down south to her Mum's because the 18 year old cat of hers there needs putting down I think she sees it as the universe giving her another one.
Main thing is that you determine if he is ill or not. Sometimes people ditch pets because they can't afford vet costs. Illnesses in dogs and cats are not always apparent until the pet become critical. If you are really serious about giving the little bugger a home, you need to get him checked out. You also want to make sure he does not have fleas that he is bringing into your flat. Vet visit will check him and make sure he is also not microchipped and just lost.
Yeah, the gf mentioned something about maybe he's chipped. I'll ask my dole cat expert friend where to take him.
Can you afford a vet visit? Take him in and get him checked out. Make sure he's ok.
Sometimes people abandon pets. If he's well behaved and nice, then you've found a friend.
I miss my orange cat. He was a stray who found me too. Vet estimated he was about a year old when he acquired me. He lived to age 17.
There are free vet places around, I've heard of friends on the dole using them. How free and what they offer, I don't know.
He is well behaved. Loves being stroked, purrs a lot. I was surprised he followed us after we stopped and stroked him. Most cats will just wander off after that.
Maybe he was in a home where he was harassed by kids and got tired of it.
Maybe. Thing is, I live in a flat on the first floor...I can't really leave a door open and see if he comes back. So I guess I'll go for a walk later and see if he buzzes off. I'll be sad if he does, even though I know that's likely.
