No, we play with horses, sabres, and firearms. "Battles" are a very small part of Living History, if at all. most Living Historians are more interested in providing a glimpse of the material culture of whatever period they have chosen to reenact, and the public eats it up as much as we do.

OP here-- there were no other guests. Wife & I originally spent the day alone and when wife found out they were going to be alone she offered to include them, thinking it would be nice since it was the filipino's first thanksgiving. My wife is a nice person that way. She's had it this time though. This friend made a big mistake with this marriage, my wife and I both know this, but what can you do. This chick does not cook nor does she clean. We saw their place for the first time in a while recently and it's a STY. My wife said, "I thought they were supposed to be good housekeepers??" and my response was that I am sure his new bride has other "talents". I am not sure I can talk to this dude about this constructively. This chick is 21 and is leading him around by the balls. EVERYONE tried to warn him about her being a scammer and he would not listen. This is the same guy I posted about as a dot not that long ago who is sending tons of money home to her family and they keep demanding more.
