It's easy to understand. A laptop is a crippled tablet. No touchscreen, you control a pointer indirectly through a track pad instead. Not portable, you can't hold it like a book. Keyboard stupidly attached to the screen by a hinge, meaning you can only set it down on a desk or on your lap. A tablet is much more versatile than a laptop. The laptop is an awful design and will disappear completely within the next few years.
Not a cheerleader, and the West's demise has nothing to do with China. It's all us. Actually, the West's greatest achievement might turn out to be shitting away such an incredible advantage.
I've read that book. It's pretty good. He doesn't say China is superior, just that there has been political reform the West has overlooked. The most interesting thing is just how much political dialogue is going on in China. The Communist party has thousands of think tanks and they analyse every other political system on Earth. Their analysis is often better than Western analysis, or at least has different and less stupefying biases. They discuss democratic systems openly too. It's really very different than most people's perception of it. He calls it an "eclectic state" because there are so many different political systems existing simultaneously in China.
I watched the one this thread is about, one where the chick got to lez it up with a bunch of chicks and the guy got sucked off by a chick who was getting fucked by another guy, and one with an Asian couple where the chick freaked out when the guy touched another woman and locked herself in her room and cried. I want to see one where the guy fucks a chick while his wife/girlfriend has to sit at the side and watch.
The guy is getting a half-assed handjob from his wife while she moans at being pounded by the black guy. None of the women are interested in him. This is great television.
You're basically rejecting any part of religion that could be of value (the community, scholarship, lineage, etc) and just keeping around basest, most shoddily interpreted beliefs. Fundies are "spiritual but not religious" types who fell into literal interpretations of their holy books because they rejected the institutional and interpretive framework that had been built around them.
It's really weird seeing this bumped. I was like "I recognise this thread" but I had to read about half-way through before I remembered that it was my troll.
