What is going on though, and controversial, is they can test embryos for gender and only implant the selected gender. Sometimes there are legit reasons for it (to avoid an inherited disease that only affects boys like Fragile X syndrome). Most of the time people demand it because they want a certain sex.

The overwhelming sex chosen is female, btw.

You have to use anti-biotics carefully, so you don't build up a tolerance. Taking them all the time, even for only 2-3 days, would render them useless after about a month.

Your body needs to heal and just needs a little help from the antibiotics at first. They get antibiotics by mail from their families in their home countries, so they always have a stash. If they get a sore throat they take an antibiotic as if it were an aspirin.

As far as Brooklyn, you think somebody from Bay Ridge or Williamsburg is going to Hofstra? Hofstra has a lot of blacks now, like the five that were accused of raping a girl a few years ago on campus. That turned out to be consensual but it was five blacks gangbanging a black girl on campus. Last year most of the starting basketball team was arrested for theft.

Finally, if you are afraid of walkng on California Avenue you either have never seen it or you get scared easily. I spent years in that area while going to Hofstra and it was as safe as any street can be.

The home was targeted not because they were students but because someone thought there was money in the home, like if they knew someone was dealing drugs out of that house. The guy in the home was from Brooklyn. I think there is a gpod chance he was a man of color.

This was likely a targeted home invasion, not a crime because some thug walked in off of a black neighborhood. The police are getting a search warrant for that house. Good chance the dude in the home was dealing drugs or owed someone money.

I had a friend who left his old car there for 3 days with the keys in the ignition and it still wasn't stolen! That created a lot of laughs for a long time!

I don't remember many cars being stolen from Roosevelt Field, so it must have declined.

I had a good friend in Rockville Centre, which always seemed very white, despite being next door to Hempstead.

Returning late at night on the LIRR and getting off at the Hempstead station used to be intimidating sometimes.

Its hard to believe that Hempstead was upscale in the 60s and had large department stores that the people from Garden City would frequent.

I know another guy who is some XM radio dj and he lived not too far away and it wasn't bad there too. Honestly, I never really even heard of much crime even in Hempstead or Freeport. All I knew is that if you wanted your car stolen you would park it Green Acres mall in valley stream. Too bad mine got stolen from Roosevelt field
