i talk a lot of shit about our military, but that's nonsense imo. the u.s. marines have something the south koreans don't: a near decade's worth of combat experience. it's useless to even compare the two.
i don't think that you, i, or anyone else on this board is capable of calling this one. very few people know what north korea is truly capable of. north korea may not look functional to you, but that's because the entire country is basically nothing but a larder for its enormous military.
some surrender. "we stay in power; we get to keep korea and taiwan; we're responsible for disarming ourselves; and also all war criminals will be punished in our courts and by our judges. *wink wink*"
pathetic. and this was after they'd already been nuked once! the fuckin' chutzpah of those imperial nips, man.
like i said, the japanese got off easy. hirohito should have been hanged (and most certainly would have were it not for macarthur's misguided belief in the importance of the emperor), and the entire country deindustrialized at gunpoint.
great. and yeah, i actually like a couple of elo songs. but that doesn't mean a bunch of forgettable pop music is important. the people keeping that nonsense on life support with these ridiculous celebrations should be gassed.
for starters, the fallout of a north korean strike would dramatically affect any chinese populations close to the north korean border. but the larger reason would probably be to put an end to america's genocidal killing spree.
seriously, what the fuck do you think would happen if we withdrew our forces from iraq and afghanistan and then nuked them both?
well, since you're obviously an expert in this field and apparently possess deep insider knowledge of the american and chinese intelligence organizations and their operations, i'll just go ahead and bow out gracefully.
why would they? why did you bring armies, navies, and air forces into this, anyway? you introduced the scenario of the u.s. nuking iraq and afghanistan. i said that in the best case scenario, our country would instantly become a pariah, and in the worst, we may lose a few cities to a state or non-state backed terrorist attack. if the u.s. blamed such-and-such country for the attack, not only would nobody believe them, but if the target was, say, north korea, i could see russia and/or china threatening the u.s. with nuclear retaliation if pyongyang is sent back to the soil.
nothing to do with armies, or invasions of europe, or any of that nonsense. it would likely end in a cold war-esque m.a.d. stalemate.
and that's why your suggestion that we nuke iraq and afghanistan is so fucking stupid.
dude, come on. take north korea for example: it's the number one source of counterfeit american money. they're the masters of that shit. are you seriously implying that they couldn't create a dead end paper trail for a rustbucket cargo ship?
a great deal of freighters aren't even registered in their home countries. they're registered in shitholes like liberia for tax reasons.
The Liberian Registry – the second largest in the world – includes well over 3100 ships of more than 96 million gross tons, which represents 10 percent of the world’s ocean going fleet. As the world’s premier open ship registry, the Liberian Maritime Program is renowned for quality, efficiency, safety and service. Likewise, the Liberian Registry is recognized at the top of every industry “white-list” including the International Maritime Organization and the major Port State Control authorities such as the US Coast Guard as well as the Paris and Tokyo MOU regimes. Furthermore, according to the U.S. Maritime Administration, Liberian flagged vessels carry more than one-third of the oil imported into the United States.
