All that has practically gone away with the demise of Unions. Management can pretty much do as they please. And they do. Wages suck, no job security, your once proud job is being done by someone in China or India. Hardly anyone gets a pension anymore. It's all about the stock price and the shareholder now.

Other than the fact that most of you don't receive the benefits derived from being in a Union, and therefore you have an excuse to put them down, I don't see why Unions are such a bad thing.
