Anything paid to a government worker is an overhead and should be kept to the minimum.

Well you should edit your OP to say device instead of phone. Then I'm in bro.

Come on, that's a given. You need some device to ring. You cannot make a ringing sound out of thin ear.

I don't.

Your OP said "the phone on the other end rings", tard.

That's right. It dials out a real number. As far as I'm concerened, the MY phone will be obsolete.

Well who are you calling with a phone on the other end if no phones are required? I think this premise contradicts itself unfortunately.

It's a dialer on your laptop or computer or tablet. You dial the phone number and the phone on the other end will ring and when they answer, the connection will be made.

No need to carry a cell phone or land line no more.

Thinking about getting a Subaru (not a sedan) for my next car. Why are they expensive to maintain?

I'm a fuckin retard meant to say won't cost a fortune as long as you avoid the dealers as they have gotten rapey lately. The current subaru dealer scam is to overfill your transmission and then claim you have a leak.

I like to buy my cars brand new and keep them for 15 years or as long as they will last.
Long as they have AC, power windows, decent radio, cruise control and comfortable and don't need a lot of maintenance.
Don't like a check light telling you that a sensor has failed or some wire is loose.

What's the deal about the letter 'U' anyhow?

An F2er will probably tell you that u's and v's were close enough that early Roman typesetters were Joos who were trying to save money on printing.

Hmm.....what's the origin of the letter 'W', aka double U?
My guess is that it would be the last addition to the alphabet.

Those are Uralic languages.

Lithuanian is often regarded as one of the most conservative IE languages. It would be interesting to see how many words you need in that language.

I would say that the Serbs have the most conservative language. They are extremely frugal with their vowels.

If he gets caught with it, he'll basically go to prison for life.

I mean, if it's an emergency situation (like Hurricane Katrina), he'll have to make a decision. Walk around with the gun, and risk being stopped by police, searched, and thrown in prison for life. Or walk around without the gun, and risk getting killed by armed thugs.

If he just kept a gun at home to defended himself, that would be the best option in his situation.

yep. now when the SHTF I am first to die. All because i had a drug habit in the past.

you fucking druggies are hilarious.

People who do drugs, get addicted to drugs, get charged and convicted of anything drug related all have one thing in common: poor decision making skills. You do not give people with poor decision making skills deadly weapons.

Most druggies go through a phase.........no point living the rest of your life being treated like a permanent junkie.

Mr_Right said:Sure you do. Cops frame all the time and run stings to make up for their quotas and are aggressive and reckless and destroy innocent lives.
So once a 'criminal' has done his time and paid the price, why bother him for the rest of his life.

Same thing with registering as sex-offender after the punishment has been done......it's going overboard.

I rather see tougher prison sentences for real crimes instead of paroles or probation.

The flip side of any `tough on crime` and maximum sentencing stance is the reality that cops are looking to convict anyone they can. Guilt is not typically relevant.

We have too many cops, and too many cops are in the gig for the benefits. Look at the cops on disability and playing golf or having other jobs.
The system is corrupt....how can you have justice when the cops are crooks?

Mr_Right said:That's another bullshit rule. Why wont you be allowed to own a handgun even when your case was expunged.
Let's say even if you are still on record as an ex-felon. I rather you be in the system so all your weapons can be tracked, rather than you buying a gun on the streets.
Unless you used the weapon in the crime, there's no reason to ban you from owning a handgun legally.
Instead, they should keep guns out of the hands of mental cases and liberals.

I never used a gun in my life, I just got caught with speed. Fucking lame. I don't even do the drugs anymore. I'd like to think if i had a fambly someday i could bust a cap in an intruder.

being a busted pedo seems a bit worse for society than having a drug problem

If a pedo is busted, he belongs in prison for the rest of his life.....no need to register.
Most drug users in prison shouldn't be imprisoned in the first place, unless they stole or killed or committed another crime.

Why you be the bad guy?

I'm with you. If your government is imprisoning enough people to make a statistical difference in an election, you've got other problems. The government should never take away your right to try to reform the system.

My cases were expunged (supposedly) i can't own a handgun for life but I hope I could vote still.

How do they even know who you are if they don't even check ids, anyway?
