Now plastic gas cans are $22?? And they want $8 for a spout extension? Seriously?

Walmarts not much cheaper and didn't have a 2.5 gln

Rip off.....got one at Autozone for about the same price and can't figure out how to pour it through the spout without spilling it all over.

Rip off.

Are you fucking serious? I thought bronchitis was only if you catch a cold. Emphysema?

Fuck, now what?

Chronic bronchitis doesn't come from a viral infection necessarily. But you'd be coughing. Go get a spirometry test to check your lung function.

Of course, it could be high blood pressure (easy enough to check yourself) or lung cancer.

Always had to worry about 'low' blood pressure, runs in the family.
Is there a way to check my lung functions at home?
How if I attempt to hold my breath for 90 seconds.....is that a reliable test?

Then just Google a question using that symptom.

I got 3 million hits. Not clicking on all that crap just to know what will kill me.

I notice it when I'm lying still and holding my breath. I get a certain uneasy sensation around my throat and upper chest.
It's all new.

then stop holding your breath you fucking idiot

But it never bothered me before......I could hold my breath for 90 seconds with no problem whatsoever. Now I feel a sensation that I never felt before.

Seriously when I'm lying down watching TV, I get short of breath. When I'm sitting or standing or walking, no problems.

Maybe it's gravity or a air valve is shutting off in the horizontal position?

Usually means bronchitis or emphysema. Smoker?

My shortness doesn't come from walking or exercising but from lying still on the couch or bed.

The list probably covers that too. I had no insurance since 2002, then got Medicare in 2011. What really saved me though was VA Health Care. Covered everything while in hospital and nursing home, except 5 months of the room & board (but only $18/day).

Try breathing. See if that cures it.

Went to WebMD and there's a list of 473 different types of breathing problems (combinations of symtoms). Click on one and it gives you possible causes. Very good info, but I got overwhelmed by choices.

I haven't seen one for years but did they finally lower their prices? Subway was originally expensive and so Quizno's really did a number on them but then Subway launched their $5 Footlong campaign and those $9 9 inch sandwiches looked pretty damned pricy in comparison. From there, it was over pretty quickly because Quizno's requires more labor and more equipment to operate.

Worst franchise in the world......13% royalty and you are forced to buy expensive meat from the franchisor.......no franchisee ever made a living running a Quizno's.

The swap itself is relatively simple.. Taking apart a tranny isn't. Even if you don't do the swap yourself, it can be done cheaply at most places once you buy the remanned trans unit.

DrifterBee said:Huh? Just buy a used part..

I've disassembled transmissions, todays models are light years easier to deal with.. My 6 sp Hyundai auto has fewer parts than the Turbo 350 I learned on. Electronics and solenoids have made it much easier.

However, labor rates have skyrocketed..

So usually what you do is buy a remanufactured unit and return your old one for the core charge. It's a fairly simple swap usually.
