Put only one screw back, for convenience.

The hybrid Tahoe gets roughly 2/3 to double the mileage of a regular Tahoe. In order to get your hybrid value, you need to drive 100,000 miles to break even.

If you just drove in the city you'd recoup the price dif a lot faster. 2010 Corolla 23 city mpg. 2010 Prius-50 city mpg
15K city miles a year = 660 gallons Corolla vs. 300 galons Prius. 360 extra gallons = $1080 at $3 a gallon and $1440 at $4. Corolla LE is $5K less than the base Prius, so that's less than 5 years of city driving(75K miles) at $3 a gallon, and less than 4 years(60K miles) at $4 a gallon to make up the difference in price.
