Arguing about handgun calibers is a futile waste of time. All of the popular rounds work similarly, discounting absolute shit like .25ACP. Shot placement is what counts.

It's some kind of Mexican food truck. You can see the word "elotes" right on the side, which is a popular Mexican street food corn on the cob thing. The video is probably from California.

I like how she's apparently in COMPLETE CONTROL of her parents at 11 years old. What fucking morons. Says she's not "logging off the internet?" FUCKING MAKE HER, DUMBSHITS. Who the fuck lets their 11 year old get a lip piercing? Complete white trash.

Letting your ELEVEN YEAR OLD have a webcam and letting her post videos to Youtube full of cursing and threats is real great parenting.

How fucking stupid are her parents? That question has already been answered.

Eleven year olds shouldn't be on social networking sites or allowed to make Youtube videos.

I like how they're portraying her and her white trash parents as the ultimate victims.

The reality is, her parents are 100 percent to blame for everything that happened.

That works. There's a neat app for smartphones now that does that, too. Couple of them, actually. I use Shazam.

The Smiths and New Order albums are good. The rest is...meh.

I fucking HATE 4 non blondes. HATE THEM. I hated that godawful single in the 90's they had.

Edit:

Chris Isaak is alright, I guess, but I'd never buy any of his albums.

I linked it earlier in the thread. I don't completely buy into it, because there wasn't a long term study done, etcetera.

Just twice. Breakfast and post workout. 1.5 scoops each time.

Edit:

Sometimes I also take some after I get home from work.

Myoplex was also the worst in that study of heavy metals in whey protein.

It's not magic, and it doesn't work instantly. It's protein. You're not gonna see the results after using it for a day, or even a week. We know protein builds muscle. Protein supplements aren't a scam like 95 percent of the shit out there. Protein shouldn't even be referred to as a supplement, in the traditional sense. It's food. The other noted benefit of supplementing protein is the fact that, as it helps build muscle, it also speeds recovery.

Without really, really trying to, it's highly, highly unlikely anyone who actually works out hard and works out frequently gets enough protein without taking powder. Not to mention, even if they DO get enough in the day, are they taking it at the right time for maximum benefit, and are they eating the best kind.

I.E. casein protein, which many people refer to as the "bedtime" protein, as it globs up in your stomach and digests slower than whey, isn't optimal to take after a workout.

As for the effectiveness based on grams of protein per pound of bodyweight, people will say different things. The RDA value for protein is way, WAY low for anyone who is the least bit active. I'm not going to look them up, but you can google studies done by various (real) universities that did scientific testing on protein intake, which proves what basic medical science already knows: eating more protein helps build muscle faster and recover faster. The control groups were worse off than the people eating 2+grams a day of protein per pound of bodyweight.

Say I lift in the evening time. When should i take the stuff?

not trolling.

Whey protein is the king of post-workout protein. It's the fastest absorbing protein, so people typically take it from zero to 30 minutes after lifting to get the greatest effect.

I think most people recommend eating it an hour or two before a workout, as well, but I don't do that, as I also work out at night and always eat a whole food meal at that time.

Plus all the protein can lead to farting and upset stomach sometimes for some people.

Well, I agree with you there. You don't NEED protein powder, but it sure as hell makes things easier. I don't feel like making eggs or chicken every time I want or need some protein. And I'd rather slam back a 1/4 cup of milk and some chocolate whey (it actually tastes good) after a workout.

Thankfully, I'm not someone with lactose intolerance or otherwise has problems digesting it.

I'd rather put that money into good quality food.

Whey protein powder is quite easily absorbed, and quickly. That's why it's popular, and it's known to work. This is not a rumor, it's a fact.

GNC had higher than average heavy metals in a test performed by Consumer Reports earlier this year, too, but still within standards.

ON 5 pounds is only $40±.

Occasionally http://www.wheycheap.com has something worthwhile for sale.

Amazon has decent prices on some stuff. The Bodybuilding.com store actually has good prices on shit, and you can view their top 50:

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/top50.htm

The only things I use are protein, creatine, multivitamin, and AEN IntraBolic. Intrabolic is just a drink powder with hydrolyzed whey, some amino acids, sodium, beta alanine, and some other common shit. I don't take any of those caffeine or stimulant workout drinks, or those questionably healthy prohormone bullshit supplements which are basically steroids but skirt the law until they're banned. Good diet + protein supplementation + creatine + vitamins = all you need.

Whey is good. Also check out albumin, egg whites...they're dry powdered and pretty cheap.

Powered egg is great if you're REALLY on a budget, but it's a pain to work with.

I use Optimum Nutrition whey, double chocolate flavor. I've tried many, and most are shit. Double Chocolate actually tastes good in milk. The strawberry is nasty, chemical tasting. Cookies and Cream from ON wasn't "bad," banana was meh.

There are other brands people swear by for taste. Some are casein/whey combines, but I like pure whey better. Syntha-6 is popular for taste, but I'm pretty sure it's a casein/whey mix.

I doubt more than ten percent of Gen-Y's know who any of the three listed bands are.

That Depeche Mode album from 2006 is as good as any of their old stuff, by the way.

Technically speaking, Robert Smith and Morrissey are both boomers, not Gen X.
