He was cool. I can't think of his name without Googling it, though. I know Corey Glover is the lead of Living Colour, but face it, we only know them for one song.
Sevendust made some decent neu-rock tunes in the 90's.
Faith No More was headed up by a black guy at the start, too...he was the one who sang We Care A Lot.
Funny you mention that, my cousin just divorced a bartender.
He even got custody of their two kids because she was such a deadbeat. Your mileage may vary. This girl was a moron from the getgo. I'm sure nice, reasonable bartender chicks exist.
Gen X "grew up" in the 80's and 90's. Gen Y grew up in the 2000's.
Edit:
Well, I guess that all depends on what years you consider "growing up." As a child, sure...I'm just nitpicking bullshit, ignore me.
Gen Y was ruined by the internet, in my mind. They were the first generation to grow up from a young age with the internet. Now they're a bunch of poofters.
Yeah. I haven't even downloaded any yet, but I've read that's all you have to do. If you're on a rooted device (and you are,) you just have to make sure that "allow unofficial apps" thing is clicked on, which it probably is. It's probably on by default on your new ROM.
The cocksuckers at AT&T make it impossible to use unofficial apps in their stock ROMS.
Oh, and that's one thing Android does better than I-phone, installing apps. Fuck itunes up the ass. Fuck itunes both on the iphone and on the PC. Clunky, slow, piece of shit.
On the Android you can queue up a shitload of apps to download really fast without clicking through screens and having to reclick the app store and what have you.
Or, if you download them off the internet, you just have to copy them to your SD card.
I've had an iPhone for years now. I bought a refurb 2G months after they were released, and then a 3GS. My upgrade was up this week, and I got an HTC Inspire. I never bothered upgrading to an iPhone 4, because I didn't think it was worth it.
I've never owned an Android phone before, but I really like this one...it's 2 years newer than the 3GS, so it's not really a fair comparison. Obviously, it's a far better phone than the 3GS is. The screen is amazing (far better colors, 1 inch bigger,) it's faster, 8 megapixel camera, and so forth.
For my use, one phone really isn't any better than the other. I rooted my Inspire yesterday, and installed a recooked ROM from xda-developers. My iPhone was, of course, unlocked.
All I do is:
Talk on the phone.
Look at the internet if I'm out somewhere / check e-mail.
Listen to Pandora at the gym.
Tether to a netbook via wifi for work (rarely anymore.)
Being that's all I do, both phones do them pretty damn equally, aside from the fact this Inspire has a lot bigger and better screen. All the customization and the control of the Android is great, for people into that. Being that I only use a handful of apps regularly anyway, it doesn't mean much to me, but it's nice I have the option. It's nice to know you're in full control of the operating system and file system if you want to be.
It's a requirement for me to have a phone that can be unlocked / rooted, able to "steal" tethering without paying AT&T's ridiculous fees, and can install downloaded (i.e. pirated) apps. This Inspire can do all that in a nicer package than my 3GS did, so, I'm happy with it. Whether or not it's nicer than the iPhone 5 will be, who knows...it really can't be much better or worse for my use.
Why go to Wal Mart, anyway? There's nothing they sell you can't buy at Target or off the internet, or elsewhere. I haven't been in a Wal Mart in a couple of years now.
Wal Marts here in Clearwater are filled with white trash and hispanics, but they largely ignore Target, for some reason. And Target doesn't have faggot receipt checkers.
I'm aware anything "can" happen, but I don't see it as being evident in the people I see at the gym.
I'm in my early 30's. There are 55 to 70 year old men at the gym I go to (yes, 70 year old men) who are absolutely stronger than me in every way.
There is a now 82 year old guy at the gym who was, 10 years ago, still deadlifting somewhere around 500, and was doing 600 in his 60's. There are a number of 60 year old guys still benching 350+. There are 45 to 60 year old guys who rep good quality, ATG squats at 315.
These guys didn't just start doing deadlifts and squats yesterday. They're still walking.
The 82 year old guy I'm talking about DID hurt himself severely doing heavy rack pulls a few years ago without warming up first...but to be fair, he was like 75 at the time.
I can squat 1.5 times my weight. I can (slightly over) deadlift 2x my weight. You can find videos on Youtube of 155 pound little fucks deadlifting like 455, and they're just, like...non-competing college kids.
I can't bench press 300, nor can I press 200.
Pressing your weight is a fairly tall order for most people. I can do 135 x 5 or 6 times with good form. I don't know where that'd put me for a max, but it isn't anywhere near 200...and my strength isn't going up on anything, nor has it in the past year (I eat a maintenance diet of around 2000 calories.)
My flat bench is bad. I workout by myself, so I can't really push myself on freeweight barbells. I use dumbbells most of the time.
No, it isn't, unless you weigh 250 pounds or more.
Any male with a decent diet and weekly work on it can deadlift 315 in no time, and 405 in a year. Considering if you weigh 200 pounds, there's your 2x deadlift.
Much like the squat, it's relatively easy to get large weights moving fast. Many people rocket up to 300 something and stall.
I think they should keep going with the festive clown makeup. It adds a nice bit of levity to the scene, you know? Perhaps a party hat would also be a nice addition.
