Boarding a cat for 1 night is weird. I don't even board mine when I go away for weekends.

Mascara said:I use mine to make pommes frites-which are so much better than french fries. You can put batter on and fry calamari, mushrooms, zucchini, artichoke hearts, all kinds of things.

I buy bags of calamari rings and make those when I make tapas.

:hmmm:

I'll keep an eye out for one on sale.

Mascara said:Yeah, its a lot of work but when you get a good snowy day you should try it. Once you do it once, all those steps go fast if you measure out everything in advance.

If you pick up something like this, it will last you a lifetime. You can probably find it cheaper. I always buy Cuisinart because they make great stuff.

I've seen them before for sale for a little cheaper. Canadian Tire maybe? I just couldn't think up anything to make in it.

Mascara said:It's not bad-I sometimes order the DVD's and sometimes I stream it. I'm re-doing my whole set up so now I just get the DVD's. Just ordered The Decline of Western Civilization and Rear Window.

Did you try the fish and chips recipe?

I don't believe the dvd thing is availible in Canada.

No, we ordered a nice specialty pizza instead. Grilled chicken, feta, spinach, red peppers.

I've heard that the selection in Canada isn't as good when it comes to new releases, but it looks okay to me.

Yeah, I like that one a lot more. I've always preferred the Victorian and steampunk couture look on women. Goggle "Kato steampunk" for what I mean.

Past my bedtime, time to collapse.

I like the laces but not the frilly stuff. Kind of hard to tell, the model and her pink hair doesn't seem to fit.

ferret appeared in the base jumping thread. he spent hours trolling mascy as a dot, accusing her of lying about it. then he started googling and stawlking the dead guy. she logged off saying she had emailed him some engagement pictures or something, and he ran off.

several people arguing about israel and that whole mess.

lots of mw.nli trolls.

no sign of death2me tonigh.

Sounds boring as fuck.

I had 5 rum and cokes and 4 shots of jagermiester and didn't feel a thing. I'd suggest that the place was watering drinks but other folks around me were falling over. I don't get it. I spent almost $90 on booze for nothing. I should get into pot instead.

Just back from the club, searching for food. Had to take a cab home, the streetcar was a 45+min wait. Worth it though.

I also didn't get a lot of sleep (perhaps caused by caffeine).

Friend of mine is also having a really tough time finding work. She's smart and professional. She says 2/3rds of the jobs she applies for end up being scams of some kind.

Mascara said:I got this one just for my school books, which were piled up all over the study. I could probably use 2-3 more. I should probably go through them and thin them out. I have tons of art books, design books- Milton Friedman, De Stijl, Vienna School, and now Poli Sci books-especially Middle Eastern politics.

My mother isn't helping. She's a voracious reader, a book every 2-3 days all year long. I visit her for dinner and come home with two big bags full of softcovers.
