An actual invitation of some sort, with a stamp to your address. And they ask you to RSVP which, if you have any fucking manners, you will-to let them know one way or another.

I'm pretty sure I've went to these types of things before where the event is HELD between 4 and 8, but no one actually stays the whole 4 hours...it's sort of expected that people come and go when they please.
