Just grab a table in the back after the show and you'll see them wander in after about 20 minutes. We saw Cabaret a couple of years back and most of the main cast showed up there.

We stayed at the Oakwood golf resort which backs up to the Pinery if I remember correctly. We also got to use the private beach there that was really nice. It was a cool break from the Jersey Shore wannabes on the main strip.

I think it was only about 45 minutes from Stratford so that's an easy day trip.

Also that place I suggested, Foster's Inn. After the night's performance there's usually some of the cast hanging out in the lounge there. So it's kind of cool to have cocktails with someone you just saw on stage.

It's better than most of the pizza in Toronto. That's not really saying much but it's really good.

There's not a whole lot to do besides the theatre and eating and drinking. The downtown area has some cool boutique shopping if you're into that.

This place also has a pretty good cocktail lounge to hang out. The main restaurant is pretty expensive but the bar food served in the lounge was good and reasonable. They make a god vodka martini. It's across the street from the main theatre.

Last year we combined it with a trip to Grand Bend and hung out on the beach. But really there's not a lot to do in Stratford during the day.

My inlaws live in Stratford and we go to the festival each year when visiting them. I think we're going to see Tommy this year.

We usually have dinner at Pazzo, it's really good and not too spendy.
