When he ran for governor here, he did the same shit. Said whatever he had to, contradicted himself, was vague about his policies, and flat out lied. And people fell for it.

I don't think he did much to fix things with voters, though. I actually didn't think his debate performance was that strong. But then again, I live in the state he governed, and I've actually met the guy.
