the casual observer said:Seriously, I'd like to but how do you go about telling your friend that their girlfriend or boyfriend is awful and they need to break up.

I don't think it would work, I mean can you name a situation where a person's friends have successfully managed to talk their friend into breaking up with a person? I mean not originated by the person them self with moral support from friends after the fact.

As bluntly and truthfully as you can muster. Hell; I'd argue that a true friend is OBLIGATED to do this.

Pathetic, lol.

A lot of good those degrees did for her. Remember when she was emailing the Aussie consulate, begging for airfare home because she was so poor she was eating FRUIT off the STREET.

You should pull him aside and try to talk some sense into him. Not like you'll see him again after marriage, anyway.

That ain't a good sign. Dunno why people marry crazy then expect anything but crazy.

You made an asshole out of yourself chasing Quad around the board. You were obsessed, and you acted like a fool. Don't try to rewrite history to people who were there. You never discussed anything, you never made any points, never wrote anything, just did your usual stalker act.

Now fuck off.

You're the one who's re-writing history. That's why you're posting as a dot.

My message is directed at American men considering marrying American women.

- If I went back in time to the 1950s, and men asked me if they should get married, I'd say sure. For those guys, in that time period, it's not a bad deal. You'll probably get a thin, loyal, non-tattooed wife, who will be a good housewife, cook & mother, who knows her place, isn't brainwashed by feminism, and has a low rate of divorce.

- If I was talking to a guy in India, I would probably also say marriage is an acceptable plan, because of the low divorce rate.

But for American men marrying American women, the numbers don't add up. It's a bad deal. I can just visit a local supermarket, and see all the monstrous moo-cows. I see the divorce numbers, the divorce court ass-rapings, and hear my married/divorced friends telling me how they permanently ruined their lives.

What the idiots like Quad could never figure out was that I was partially agreeing with him. This is what I've been saying for years, boiled down:

People are stupid. 90% of them are incapable of participating in a successful marriage. However, it's not women's fault as Quad proclaimed. It's the fault of both men and women because - again - PEOPLE are stupid.

You have to be blind to what is going on in the world to think that marriage is still a good deal for men.

Marriage is not a game to be played by the stupid or emotionally stunted.

Would you suggest that the average American should play the stock market? Of course you wouldn't, because you know they'd lose their shirt in a week. Same with marriage. It's not the marriage that's at fault, it's the people in the marriage.

No, that's backwards.

Every night he'd start anti-marriage threads. He'd copy the posts into his pdf "book", which he then sold on his website. Never giving credit to the authors or even the website. This was confirmed when both PGB and myself intentionally trolled his threads, making anti-marriage posts, only to see who could get the most quotes in his book.

Also, he was somehow connected to a Russian mail-order bride service.. either running it himself or getting a cut for each new member he referred.

Of course it never occurred to him that Russian chicks who'd marry for a green card would be even more materialistic then the "American women" he railed against nightly.

He was always one of the easiest dots to spot for me because English was a second language for him. He used the same terminology all the time because of how small the pool of his English phrases was.
