Electric fireplace. I prefer real ones, but it's easier that way.

Ahh, okay. I like that one the most I think. I prefer the smaller, cozy detached homes. I also like the floors and brick wall.

New windows, paint in and out, landscaping, floors, probably bathrooms (there are 4) and kitchen remodeling. But it has 5 bedrooms, 4 decks, and lots of garden space. It's got a wierd look to it; not sure I like it. It looks like they added on to the original house from the front. Kind of fuggly, but could be a really nice house with some work. Also might be potential to carve a rental out of it. I suspect it is already a 2-3 family.

That's right in the heart of the beaches. "Attention Renovators & Builders!". Will be worth a million after renos are done.

Good bones, needs carpet torn out and floors refinished, and lots of updates.

A friend of mine used to live on that street. It's very nice, the beach is at the south end.

For a challenge try to find something between Woodbine and Victoria Park, within walking distance of Queen east, for that price.

Google cache seems to indicate it sold for half million. No wonder it went so fast a that price. Maybe there's a huge price drop from there to the beaches.

I like it. A little outside of my desired area, but not by much. No price though. I guess $850k to $1million.

Statistics Canada.

Toronto has the highest per capita immigration rate in the world.

You buy a fourplex in a working class neighborhood for $180k then rent the foru apartments out to welfare recipients, preferably pink slipped psych patients. The government doesn't trust this child minded people to pay their own rents so when they get an apartment the government sets up direct deposit to your account. Every month you have four checks of $600-$800 direct deposited BY THE GOVERNMENT to your account. It's the slum lord road to financial prosperity. There used to be this guy here from texas that was into that shit...the one that went to Russia to find a bride..

Doesn't surprise me. Searching for a 1 bedroom home to buy here in Toronto for prices that would get me a 4 bedroom mansion in Texas. It's depressing.

People paying $800 a month to live in a freezing little camper on stilts buried in a snowbank 9 months a year in a community of drunken drug addicts.

Yukon and Nunavit have the Northern Allowance though. The govt pays you $24k a year to live up there...just to have a residence there.

Geez.. must be nice to be a landlord up there.

$1500 for a one bedroom apt $2500 for a 2 bedroom...it's hilarious to see all the idiots begging for $800 apartments there...hopeless..

Imagine paying that to freeze in a hick down in the arctic circle..just to bust your back toiling in a mine for $60k a year.

Why so high in Yukon? Lots of jobs but few homes?

"prohibit ditribution"

What do you think "ban" means? Nobody said "criminalize".

I'm going to bed. When the FBI are kicking in your door at 2am looking for condoms and pornography, remember that Canada requires all immigrants to live in the country for 3 years before applying for citizenship.

Santorum believes that pornography is obscene, that current laws prohibit it and that Obama is not enforcing those laws. He says that if he was president, he would enforce the laws banning pornography. I don't know how to make it any more clear than he has.

Anyway, apparently Santorum saying "I want to ban all pornography" isn't going to convince you that he wants to ban pornography, so let's move on to him wanting to ban all forms of contraceptives. And after they are made illegal, he supports police searches of married couples bedrooms to confirm.

Illegal contraceptives:

Not really arguing with you about Santorum but when someone says "He wants to ball all porn" I looked it up. I sure he'd LIKE to but he never said he will.

Rick Santorum wants to ban pornography.
